DAY IN THE LIFE: As an Account Executive, you will expand and maintain VSS Group’s presence across the West Coast in a remote, field-based role that combines relationship management, dealership support, and new business development. Approximately half of your time will be dedicated to managing and growing existing dealership accounts, while the other half will focus on prospecting new partners and driving territory expansion. You will work directly with dealership teams and third-party agencies to sell and support NitroFill and Cilajet programs, delivering training, service support, and hands-on sales assistance while ensuring strong product adoption and customer satisfaction. Beyond daily sales activity, you will analyze account performance, collaborate with the Business Development Manager on growth strategies, and help execute product placement and marketing initiatives that improve dealership performance.
Your week will typically include:
- Conducting dealership training sessions on product knowledge, sales approach, and program best practices
- Servicing nitrogen units and supporting dealership operations to ensure program success
- Managing ongoing communication with dealership personnel to resolve concerns and strengthen relationships
- Prospecting and pursuing new dealership opportunities within your territory
- Preparing proposals, responding to customer inquiries, and actively closing business
- Reviewing account performance data and developing action plans with leadership to drive revenue growth
- Supporting product launches, marketing material implementation, and merchandising placement
- Reporting weekly activity through CRM and participating in production and strategy meetings
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience in territory sales or account management
- Willing to travel (1 overnight/week and daily car travel)
- Experience cold calling and/or other proactive sales tactics
- High activity/hunter-style experience
